I was born in the United States in 1975, and I will soon be celebrating my 50th birthday. When I was 16, I moved to the United Kingdom with my family, and it became my second home. I am half American and half British, and these two identities have shaped my life trajectory and given me a unique perspective to understand the world. Half a century has passed quietly, and the ups and downs of life are still vivid in my mind. From passionately pursuing my dreams in my youth to struggling in my career in middle age, the precipitation of years has made me deeply realize the brevity and preciousness of life. I studied at the London Business School (LBS) in the United Kingdom and obtained a degree in economics. After graduation, I embarked on a career as a stockbroker in London, and then turned to futures trading, constantly exploring the mysteries of the financial market. In 2009, Bitcoin was born, and I was deeply attracted to this emerging world of cryptocurrency. Since then, I have started investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and quickly realized the huge potential of this revolutionary technology. In 2010, after I got my CFA, I quickly returned to the United States and opened a new chapter in my life. This was a choice to follow my passion and to find broader development opportunities in the cryptocurrency and financial markets. As the market continued to evolve, I achieved significant success in the field of cryptocurrency trading, which not only expanded my career but also deepened my understanding and insight into the financial markets. In February 2021, I moved to London for work again and joined GUINNESS ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD as Head of Portfolio Risk. In this role, my core responsibility is to drive further development of the group's investment risk assessment. Previously, I supported GUINNESS ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD in an advisory capacity and played a key role in the establishment of risk management processes in the trading and supply chain finance teams. I am analytical, with a special focus on risk management, and I am passionate about finance and technology. I am always eager to learn about new developments in the cryptocurrency field and constantly look for ways to improve my trading strategies. I have a natural ability to inspire and connect people, which enables me to communicate effectively and inspire others to plunge into the exciting world of digital currencies. With my wisdom and analytical skills, I am able to identify even the most subtle risks while always adhering to professional ethics. I strive to keep up with the progress of the financial and technology industries, and always seize opportunities to share my knowledge with others. In addition, I am a risk-taker who dares to make bold investments in pursuit of high returns. I am an extrovert, optimistic person who likes to challenge myself and look for new opportunities. I am passionate about my career and have a high self-drive. I often participate in various trading competitions and charity events, hoping to help those in need through my professional abilities. Although I have been a technical team leader in multiple cryptocurrency exchanges, I have always kept a low profile, but in the cryptocurrency field, I have won many beautiful battles for many cryptocurrency celebrities. I once led the team to study Bitcoin in depth and successfully created the "Bitcoin Miracle" - within a month, my team achieved 52 times the profit in the Bitcoin market. I know that the power of an individual is insignificant, so my team and I gather strength, use our abilities to build our own team, and help cryptocurrency investors improve bad trading habits and turn them from losses to profits.
